BCD Travel is a global company that creates connections to simplify business travel. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to manage social media campaigns, produce engaging content, and enhance the company's social media presence.
Responsibilities:
- Support the social media team in managing BCD’s global social media channels (daily monitoring, posting, responding to comments and messages)
- Help increase BCD’s followers and engagement on all platforms
- Develop and execute creative social media campaigns aligned with company goals
- Create high-quality videos independently - from concept to filming, editing and publishing
- Step in front of the camera for social content
- Launch and grow BCD’s TikTok presence
- Create high-quality content that offers genuine value; collaborate with the creative team to make sure assets are ready on time; and write your own post copy to drive conversation and engagement
- Collaborate with various marketing teams, product marketing, subject matter experts, regional experts, people & culture, sales and program management for content creation
- Support other members of the PR & Content Creation team
- Track social media trends and identify opportunities for engagement and growth
- Support colleagues in building their personal social brand with content and practical tips
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the business travel industry, its fast-changing environment, and the competitive landscape. BCD’s technology and target audiences
- Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Prior social media marketing experience (corporate or agency; B2B preferred)
- In-depth understanding of the major social media platforms (especially LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok)
- Proven ability to create and edit social media videos
- Experience with social media advertising and analytics
- Experience in the corporate travel or technology sectors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and social media management tools
- Creative thinking and analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently to meet deadlines
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
