Sales Development Representative - Financial Institutions

Equifax is where you can power your possible. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to support all aspects of the company’s sales activities and develop qualified sales opportunities within the Financial Institutions sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute deep-dive research and data mining on target financial institutions to identify high-value opportunities within assigned territories
• Spearhead multi-channel 'touch' campaigns and follow up on digital leads (webcasts/eSeminars) to secure qualified appointments
• Maintain CRM integrity by managing lead lifecycles, meeting notes, and prospecting data within Salesforce
• Partner with Sales to develop precision target lists and synchronize calendars for optimized geographic outreach
• Act as a liaison between internal teams to refine lead qualification and improve feedback loops on lead outcomes
• Track and report on key business development metrics, linking prospecting activity directly to revenue generation
• Facilitate the RFP process and reference gathering while representing the brand at high-impact industry tradeshows and conferences

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or other related sales roles
• Exposure selling/introducing/discussing services with Director or “C” level executives
• Ability to open doors via telephone conversations and reach key decision-makers
• Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills: creative, articulate, concise, and persuasive
• Outbound telephone cold-calling experience preferred, particularly in enterprise and/or midmarket B2B sales environments
• Knowledge/experience with a 'contact' database such as Salesforce preferred
• Experience working at or with Financial Institutions or Credit Unions
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines

• Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and research skills
