Business System Analyst

The Judge Group is seeking a Business System Analyst who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and support organizational change. This role involves gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, with a strong focus on data flow, integrations, and system processes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements
• Facilitate walkthroughs with engineering teams and coordinate user acceptance testing
• Develop detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) outlining scope, objectives, and functional specifications
• Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations
• Create and execute UAT test cases based on business requirements to validate functionality
• Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats with stakeholders and technical partners
• Drive communication planning and execution to ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment
• Capture accurate and detailed meeting notes, decisions, and action items to support effective follow-up
• Facilitate communications with both business and IT partners to align requirements, expectations, and deliverables
• Analyze data flows, integrations, and system dependencies to support accurate system behavior
• Track solution effectiveness and recommend process improvements
• Understand how individual tasks contribute to broader business objectives and demonstrate strategic awareness
• Consistently meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
• Maintain regular availability during core business hours and be responsive to team needs and communications
• Conduct work with honesty, transparency, and accountability in all professional interactions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years related experience
• BS in Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
• Candidate must be skilled in developing and managing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that align with stakeholder expectations and guide implementation
• Candidate must have technical understanding of programming and database concepts, data flows, system processes and integrations
• Candidate must have quantitative and qualitative analytical, problem solving and research skills, as well as high attention to detail
• Candidate must have business analysis proficiency, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans and solutions
• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidate must be able to coordinate requirements walk-through with engineering teams and user acceptance testing with stakeholders
• Candidate must be able to quickly react, analyze and adapt to business partner needs, and adjust the product requirements accordingly
• Candidate must be able to work independently; have general knowledge of the business practices and processes
• Candidate must be able to collaborate and develop positive relationships with all cross-functional teams
• Master's degree in Engineering field or Business Administration (MBA)
