Business Analyst – Knowledge Management & Documentation Systems

Applicantz is a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, known for fostering a progressive culture and creativity. They are seeking a contractor to improve and operationalize their architecture knowledge system with a focus on logical data model governance and maintainable documentation.

Responsibilities:

• This role is ideal for someone who combines strong process thinking, information architecture, and documentation skills with the ability to configure lightweight workflows, automations, and approved-tool solutions
• There is already a baseline logical data model source and a change process in place
• The need is not to create these from scratch, but to revamp, improve, and relaunch them so they are easier to use, govern, search, version, and maintain
• This role will also help retire existing functional specifications by converting them into living documentation that is easier to update and more accessible to stakeholders
• A key part of the role is connecting the logical data model for offering to the offering management intake process for new product requests
• This includes helping ensure requests align to standard definitions, connecting multiple Airtable bases where appropriate, and defining what data belongs where so the overall process is clearer, more scalable, and better supports faster time to market
• This role is a strong fit for someone from technical writing, process change management, business analysis, or knowledge systems work who has strong operator instincts and can turn fragmented inputs into a clear, maintainable operating model
