Solventum is a new healthcare company focused on improving lives through innovative solutions. The Upstream Product Manager for Restorative & Prevention will lead innovation planning and product development for Solventum's dental portfolio, translating insights into actionable concepts and business cases.
Responsibilities:
- Own upstream strategy execution for assigned categories (e.g., adhesives, cements, composites, prevention)
- Conduct market analysis, VOC research, and white space identification to inform product concepts
- Develop business cases and product requirements to guide early-stage development through technical feasibility assessment and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with Lifecycle and Downstream teams to ensure innovation readiness aligns with portfolio transitions and launch planning
- Support cross-functional workstreams with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Business Development to advance pipeline opportunities
Requirements:
- 5+ years in upstream marketing, program management, product strategy, innovation, or technical roles
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- Experience in healthcare, dental, or medical device industries preferred
- Experience with early-stage product development, concept validation and/or strategic portfolio planning
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and customer pain points in restorative and preventive dentistry
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic recommendations
- Marketing or commercialization experience in a large med tech/med device company
