Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
6-10 years of progressive experience in financial grant management, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, GAAP and federal awards (USAID, CDC, NIH, or similar).
Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of USG Rules and Regulations, including FAR (especially Subpart 31.7) and 22CFR200.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication abilities.
Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
Strong experience managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and project (donor) reporting.
Keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in presenting financial reports to non-finance audiences.
Microsoft Excel experience, including pivot tables etc.
