Canon U.S.A., Inc. is a leading provider of digital imaging solutions, and they are seeking an Enterprise Sales Specialist to drive market penetration for their enterprise sales activities. The role involves initiating contact with prospects, developing new business opportunities, and partnering with senior sales executives for seamless transitions of prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with pre-validated prospects by targeting key decision makers
- Execute high volume sales activities while engaging with key stakeholders
- Develop new business opportunities and support the strategic business plan
- Provide strategic prospecting by identifying and prioritizing high-value Enterprise accounts
- Act as lead for activities supporting specific strategic contracts which result in qualified opportunities and appointments
- Attend key industry events
- Partner with Senior Sales Executives for seamless transition of prospects
- Utilize and update activities in Salesforce CRM
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of customer management and social marketing/networking tools
- Professional experience, preferably in outbound sales, business development, or high-stakes account management
- High resilience, exceptional verbal/written communication for C-Suite interactions
- Ability to learn Canon products and competitors
- Ability to work autonomously and have excellent relationship management skills
- Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships with a variety of businesses
- Interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry
- May require up to 25% national travel, including overnight travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary)
- Ability to learn Canon processes including device configuration, pricing, order entry, shipping and device returns, document review
