Dealer Trade Network helps new car dealers optimize their inventory by facilitating dealer-to-dealer trades and leveraging data-driven insights. The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for handling all inbound and outbound leads, qualifying prospects, and ensuring only sales-ready opportunities are passed to Inventory Consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, LinkedIn, and referrals
- Make first contact and qualify prospects using defined criteria
- Verify and update contact and company data in the CRM
- Gather intake details to confirm scope, needs, and readiness
- Nurture short-term leads until sales-ready
- Book meetings or hand off qualified leads to Inventory Consultants
- Provide complete handoff notes, including pain points, stakeholders, timing, and documentation
- Re-engage existing accounts for additional opportunities, such as cross-sell and up-sell
- Partner with Marketing to share feedback on lead quality and messaging
- Track and report daily and weekly activity and performance metrics
