Ren Systems is a high-growth AI startup focused on providing actionable insights to dealmakers. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to build their outbound sales motion and generate pipeline for their sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect into strategic business accounts within Ren’s ideal customer profile via cold call, email, and social strategies
- Drive sales growth and pipeline by setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives (AEs)
- Partner closely with AEs to ensure strong handoff and pipeline quality
- Maintain active communication and follow-up with leads by following a strategic sales cadence
- Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
- Become a Ren subject matter expert and effectively communicate our value prop to prospects
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role
- High activity and work ethic; you're comfortable with outbound prospecting as a core part of the role
- A high standard for your own performance - you actively look for ways to improve
- Organized and disciplined with the ability to maintain consistent activity
- Willingness to take initiative and contribute ideas beyond day-to-day responsibilities
