AMDT is the global market and technology leader for versioning and backup solutions in industrial automation, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative. This role involves identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-potential leads to influence the success of the sales pipeline, while providing support and training for career growth in SaaS sales.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential customer accounts in our target markets
- Launch outbound sequences and engage prospects through email, LinkedIn, calls, and video
- Lead first conversations to understand business challenges and assess fit
- Qualify leads and hand over strong opportunities to our Sales team
- Book high‑quality meetings and demos for Account Executives
- Maintain an organized and accessible sales pipeline in our CRM
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to refine our messaging
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, prospecting, recruiting, or another customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Curiosity, resilience, and a genuine interest in sales
- Fast learner — you quickly adapt to new tools and techniques
- Motivated by goals and structured in how you manage your time
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, Salesloft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, nooks or similar
- Exposure to SaaS, B2B, or outbound sales environments
- Interest in using AI tools to improve productivity
- Previous internship or working student experience in a commercial role
