Motorola Solutions is a global community focused on enhancing safety through technology. They are seeking a Product Management Analyst for their Command Center Voice Software team, responsible for executing product strategies, managing backlogs, and collaborating cross-functionally to develop AI-enabled radio console products.
Responsibilities:
- Translate strategic product goals into detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Own the day-to-day prioritization of the engineering and design backlog, making smart trade-offs to ensure on-time delivery without compromising quality
- Work closely with UX design to champion tightly collaborative workflows and with engineering to resolve technical bottlenecks
- Actively prototype and test ideas (using tools like Claude & Cursor) to validate assumptions before writing a single line of production code
- Participate in customer interviews, usability testing, and user research to build deep empathy for first responders and dispatchers
- Monitor product analytics, track KPIs, and analyze user feedback to uncover insights that inform future iterations
- Assist in the creation of sales enablement materials, documentation, and training to ensure successful product rollouts and adoption
- Draft meticulous user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed feature specifications. You will document daily product decisions and edge cases, ensuring our internal AI copilots and engineering teams have a highly accurate, written 'source of truth' to work from
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering or a related degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- Hands-on builder mentality with a strong bias for action. You aren't afraid to get into the weeds of API documentation, technical integrations, or wireframing
- Strong technical fluency; you can communicate effectively with engineers and understand the basics of modern software architecture
- Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn about AI-driven products and how to integrate them into traditional workflows
- Ability to translate complex workflows into highly structured, clearly written requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and a highly structured approach to managing projects
- Willingness to travel (up to ~30%) for customer engagement, user research, and team collaboration
