Ovation is a guest experience and operations platform built for multi-unit restaurants, helping teams manage their online reputations and recover unhappy guests. They are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to proactively identify and reach out to restaurant brands, focusing on outbound prospecting and generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect into multi-unit restaurant brands through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach
- Research accounts and identify key decision-makers (Operations, Marketing, Technology leaders)
- Conduct outbound discovery conversations to understand business challenges and qualify fit
- Generate qualified opportunities for the sales team through consistent outbound activity
- Support inbound leads as needed by qualifying and routing them appropriately
- Keep Salesforce and HubSpot up to date with accurate notes and activity
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to improve lead quality and conversion
- Attend and support select industry conferences and events in the U.S
Requirements:
- Experience cold calling into restaurants or restaurant brands is required
- 6-12 months of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales role
- Comfortable talking to decision-makers over phone, email, and video
- Strong communication skills — curious, clear, and professional
- Organized and disciplined with follow-ups and CRM hygiene
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- U.S.-based and able to travel occasionally for conferences
- Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot
