Ampstek is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role involves gathering requirements, performing data analysis, and supporting the implementation of business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact between business users, project managers, and technical teams to facilitate clear communication and understanding of business needs
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, workflows, and processes
- Assist in developing business cases, process maps, and functional specifications
- Support project planning, tracking, and reporting activities to ensure timely delivery of business initiatives
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to the development of recommendations that align with business objectives
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validating results, and documenting findings
- Assist in the creation of training materials, process documentation, and user guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new systems or processes
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or related roles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comprehend business requirements and propose solutions based on supported technologies and organizational processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
