Distill is seeking a Senior Product Ops Specialist to take ownership of customer deployment strategies. The role involves understanding customer businesses, building target audiences, crafting outreach strategies, and collaborating with the product team to enhance product features.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business, market, and positioning
- Form a clear, well-reasoned point of view on who their best-fit target audience is before a project launches
- Make confident recommendations without needing sign-off on every decision
- Treat each customer like a mini research project - and close it fast
- Create company and people searches in Distill to surface the right audiences
- Use Distill's agentic AI tools to qualify and refine those lists against each customer's ICP
- Continuously sharpen your instincts for what makes a great target vs. a mediocre one
- Iterate based on performance data without waiting to be asked
- Write initial outreach that puts each customer in the best possible light
- Draw on patterns from live projects to inform positioning, tone, and angle
- Test and refine messaging using AI prompts, with a systematic eye toward what's actually working
- Build a growing library of what works so every new project starts smarter than the last
- Track performance across accounts and proactively surface what the data is saying
- Identify patterns - what target profiles convert, what messaging lands, what setups underperform
- Propose and implement improvements without waiting for direction
- Think across accounts, not just within them
- Work closely with the product and engineering team to translate what you're doing manually into self-serve features for customers
- Be a primary voice in how this workflow should be designed for scale
- Document what works, flag what's broken, and push for changes that make the whole system better
- Help turn a high-touch service into a product customers can run themselves
