TEKsystems is partnering with a large financial services organization to support a major AML technology initiative. The role involves working within Agile teams to enhance and integrate core AML systems, focusing on both product ownership and program management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Join and augment existing Agile/Scrum teams
- Decompose epics into well-defined features and user stories
- Lead feature refinement and backlog grooming sessions
- Produce detailed software documentation, including: Source-to-target mappings, Data movement and transformation logic, Integration requirements
- Partner with QA and business teams on: Test case development, UAT, PVT, and production readiness, Business validation activities
- Support enhancements to AML workflows and systems
- Participate in occasional after-hours support (1–2 times per month)
- Build and manage integrated project and delivery plans
- Coordinate across business, technology, and vendor teams
- Track dependencies, risks, milestones, and ownership
- Drive execution of AML technology enhancements
- Maintain job aids, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Provide clear, executive-ready status reporting
- Support business validation and production release activities
- Occasional evening hours may be required during production validation windows
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Development Product Owner or similar role
- Strong Scrum / Agile team experience
- 3–5 years of Jira experience (feature/story creation, backlog management)
- Proven ability to document detailed software requirements
- Experience with test planning and execution
- Comfort working in regulated, enterprise environments
- 5+ years of Program or Project Management experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in financial services
- Background in regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Experience supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
- Familiarity working with Scrum teams and Jira
- Financial services or banking experience
- AML / Sanctions domain knowledge
- Experience with transaction monitoring or screening platforms
- Prior implementation experience with AML software products
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data pipelines
- Scrum, Product Owner, or Agile certifications
- Familiarity with brokerage or investment account structures is a plus
