They are seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to shape the people strategy for their Product and Engineering divisions, serving as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership and providing counsel on organizational design and workforce strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership and executive leadership across Product and Engineering to align people strategies with business priorities and operating goals
- Lead talent planning activities, including succession planning, talent reviews, and development planning for critical roles and leadership pipelines
- Advise leaders on organizational design, team effectiveness, and workforce planning to support scale, delivery, and business performance
- Consult on employee relations, performance management, and organizational risk matters with sound judgment and consistency
- Analyze workforce data, organizational trends, and talent insights to identify priorities and recommend actions
- Collaborate with centers of excellence and HR partners to implement programs, processes, and solutions that support the business
- Guide change management planning for business initiatives that affect teams, roles, structures, or ways of working
- Support annual people processes such as performance cycles, compensation planning, and promotion reviews
- Contribute to the development and refinement of HR practices, tools, and frameworks that improve manager effectiveness and team operations
- Facilitate leadership discussions focused on organizational health, decision-making effectiveness, and role clarity
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and apply technology, including AI-enabled tools, to increase HR efficiency and insight generation
- Partner with talent acquisition on hiring strategies for leadership and specialized roles within Product and Engineering
- Participate in cross-functional projects that support enterprise workforce priorities and organizational initiatives
- Document and communicate recommendations, decisions, and action plans with clarity for stakeholders across multiple levels
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Human Resources, including progressive experience in HR business partnership or related strategic HR roles
- Experience supporting Product and Engineering divisions in a business-facing HR role
- Experience supporting senior leadership and executive leadership on organizational design, talent planning, succession planning, and leadership advising
- Experience using workforce data and people insights to inform recommendations and decisions
- Knowledge of core HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, compensation practices, and change management
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment and manage priorities across large, complex organizations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear recommendations to varied audiences
- Demonstrated curiosity and capability in leveraging AI tools to enhance HR effectiveness, with the ability to identify opportunities for AI application in talent and organizational work
