RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for Operations SIOP & Materials Management. The role involves partnering with leadership to drive talent strategy and support business initiatives while ensuring organizational effectiveness and high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Operations SIOP and Materials Management Leadership to drive the talent strategy, aligning functional business and workforce strategies with enterprise priorities and the organization’s future vision
- Provide change leadership to key SIOP strategic and transformation initiatives
- Lead proactive strategies to address talent gaps and implement targeted development and acquisition plans to strengthen SIOP talent pipeline, build critical skills, and enable sustained business performance through effective people strategies
- Partner with business leaders to support business initiatives and coach on change initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution and stakeholder alignment
- Build enterprise organizational capability and enable high-performing teams through deep business insight, effective coaching and influence, and strong leadership engagement
- Drive organizational design efforts, including structure, role clarity, and capability alignment, to support evolving business strategies and operational excellence
- Act as a trusted strategic HR advisor who partners with senior leaders, bringing fresh perspectives on talent, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Architect and execute comprehensive talent strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning
- Provide leadership on enterprise level initiatives, utilizing project management, analytical problem-solving to deliver measurable results
- Demonstrate a bias for action and data-driven decision-making, customer focus, ensuring timely execution, and clear strategic vision for results across all initiatives
- Champion the application of Lean principles and structured problem-solving methodologies to improve organizational effectiveness and operational performance
- Travel up to 25% domestic
Requirements:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years of experience
- Project and change management experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, operations or similar environment
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and tool applications
- Experience leading a large change initiative
- Experience creating and executing talent strategies
- Effectively and clearly convey information with senior leadership
- Experience coaching and influencing a team
