Healthcare Research Data Annotator

Alignerr is looking for detail-oriented professionals to label and verify clinical and research datasets that power the next generation of medical AI. The role involves reviewing and annotating datasets with accuracy and maintaining high standards of data quality while working independently and flexibly.

Responsibilities:

• Review and annotate clinical and research datasets with accuracy and consistency
• Apply high-quality labels to complex medical data following structured guidelines
• Verify existing annotations for correctness and completeness
• Identify ambiguities or edge cases and escalate appropriately
• Maintain a high standard of data quality across all assigned tasks
• Work independently and asynchronously at your own pace

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex, structured information
• Background or familiarity in healthcare, clinical research, biology, or a related STEM field
• Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines precisely and consistently
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• Clear written communication skills
• Prior annotation or data labeling experience is a plus but not required
• Experience in clinical documentation, medical coding, or biomedical research
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or medical terminology
• Prior work in data quality, research coordination, or healthcare informatics
