The Sage Group is representing a leading technology company seeking a seasoned Partner Marketing Manager for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on driving growth in the Affiliate Program through strategic partner recruitment, onboarding, and managing relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively research and identify strategic Tier 2 partners and supplementary services relevant to the business formation phase (e.g., website creation and hosting platforms like SiteGround, ZenBusiness, Doola, Swyft Filings, BusinessAnywhere; and other related business administration tools)
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners, ensuring they are fully equipped and activated to drive mutual business value
- Develop comprehensive launch strategies including exclusive offer definitions (e.g., the 30% discount for 12 months for Visa cardholders), multi-channel placements across email, banking apps, and social media, and resonant messaging focused on integrated AI value propositions like Gemini in Meet and Gmail
- Develop the strategy for identifying new creators, building the prospect list, and creating the recruitment framework for Phase 2 of the influencer program. The scope explicitly excludes the operational execution of campaigns
- Lead engagement with partner organizations, working side-by-side with internal counterparts
- Lead partner negotiation, onboarding, and planning phases, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals
- Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Legal, Sales) to ensure all aspects of the partnership are vetted and supported
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or Partner Management, specifically within the Tech/SaaS industry
- Proven ability to take initiative, navigate roadblocks autonomously, and proactively drive projects forward with minimal supervision
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You over-communicate status, surface risks early, negotiate terms effectively, and present strategy clearly to leadership
- Proven ability to scope complex opportunities, identify value drivers, and translate abstract concepts into actionable business plans
- Experience working in a matrixed environment (experience working with or at Google is a plus) and comfortable engaging with senior external stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with a track record of taking partnerships from concept to launch (GTM) and activation
- Experience managing or scaling influencer/creator campaigns, particularly for international markets
- Familiarity with affiliate or referral partnership models in addition to strategic integrations
- Existing knowledge of the business formation ecosystem and related supplementary services
