TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services. They are seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to serve as the first line of advanced technical support for federal customers using enterprise Linux and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Actively working customer support queues
- Resolving backlog tickets
- Participating in structured training programs
- Participate in an on-call/pager rotation
Requirements:
- 6+ years working in and troubleshooting enterprise OpenShift (Kubernetes), AAP (Ansible Automation Platform), and/or RHEL environments
- High level of RH OS (RHEL and other flavors) experience and using tools such as curl, strace, wireshark, and kernel crash analysis
- Must be a self starter - they want someone that wants to better themselves to better support clients
- Must have a minimum of 1 of these active certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, Red Hat OpenShift Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation, Certified Kubernetes Administration
