Solar Project Manager

Samuel Knight Energy is working with a growing renewable energy construction business that is continuing to expand its presence across utility-scale solar. The role involves leading the delivery of utility-scale solar construction projects, coordinating project execution, and ensuring schedules are managed and achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of utility-scale solar construction projects from execution through completion
• Develop, manage, and drive detailed project schedules
• Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Support reporting across schedule, cost, progress, and key project milestones
• Take a hands-on approach to project delivery and problem solving
• Adapt to the needs of a growing business and help strengthen project execution processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing utility-scale solar construction projects
• Strong ability to create, manage, and deliver project schedules
• Hands-on approach to project leadership
• Comfortable working remotely with regular travel to sites
• Adaptable, solutions-focused, and able to perform well in a growing company environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness and understanding of EPC project delivery
