Simular is seeking a People & Operations Generalist to help maintain smooth operations as the company scales. This role involves managing office operations, payroll processing, employee lifecycle support, and improving operational workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Own office management: facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and making sure the space works well for the team
- Run payroll processing and coordinate with our external providers to make sure everyone gets paid accurately and on time
- Manage onboarding and offboarding end-to-end: equipment setup, account access, first-day logistics, and exit processes
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Support benefits administration and coordinate with insurance and payroll vendors
- Assist with recruiting coordination when needed: scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, keeping pipelines organized
- Identify and improve operational workflows — if something is manual and repetitive, you'll want to fix it
