The Packaging Data and Analytics Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of critical tools and systems to enhance the efficiency, project management capabilities, and data analysis within our global packaging organization. This role is crucial in the symplification of complex processes, providing actionable insights through robust dashboards and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data analysis tools to support the global Hill’s packaging organization.
Design and build dashboards and control systems for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Create and maintain project management tools to improve efficiency and workflow within the packaging team.
Identify opportunities for process simplification and develop solutions to achieve these efficiencies.
Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in packaging operations.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all developed tools and dashboards.
Develop metrics and data governance for packaging master data
Model cost and sustainability trade-offs, including lifecycle assessment inputs.
Monitor quality and compliance: defect trends, customer/retailer compliance. Lead improvement meetings to address opportunities.
Provide training and support to end-users on newly developed tools and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement.
Automate routine tasks
Develop predictive models
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer goods or pharmaceutical company
Proven experience in data analysis, tool development, and dashboard creation.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g, Smartsheets, Google suite, BI Tools)
Preferred Qualifications:
Programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with packaging processes and supply chain operations.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $98,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
