Gakku is reimagining learning for the AI era and is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid acquisition for their new AI-native consumer product. The role involves owning and executing the paid acquisition strategy, managing campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, and driving growth through data-driven optimization and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute paid acquisition strategy for Gakku, with a focus on scalable user growth
- Manage and optimize campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads
- Drive growth through rigorous testing across creative, targeting, bidding, and funnel optimization
- Analyze campaign performance and improve key metrics such as CPI, CAC, ROAS, and LTV
- Partner closely with product and creative teams to improve conversion and ad performance
- Identify new growth opportunities across channels, audiences, and acquisition strategies
- Bring strong execution and analytical rigor to campaign planning, testing, and reporting
Requirements:
- 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing / paid acquisition
- Proven experience running iOS app user acquisition campaigns
- Strong expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Strong analytical instincts and a highly data-driven approach to optimization
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with consumer products, especially: mobile games, short-form content / entertainment apps, subscription-based products
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and UGC-style ad strategies
- Experience working effectively across U.S.- and China-based teams
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus, but not required
