Largeton Group is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a Healthcare Payor organization with multiple ongoing projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing large scale projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and initiates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, tracks schedules and mitigates risks
- Sequences complex initiatives from start to finish
- Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation
- Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects
- Coordinates issues throughout the organization, and externally when necessary, to promote accurately represented information
- Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment
- Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture
- Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors
- Leads the execution of the project
- Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through the use of critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements
- Performs mid-level advisory consulting work and provides strategic focus
- Effectively conveys the big picture and alignment with corporate goals
- Synthesizes complex topics and project statuses into executive level presentations and influences decision making
- Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization
- Liaisons with IT and translates business needs into technology related action plans
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of IT Project Management expertise
- Ideal project support categories are MS 365, LOS, Windows, etc. but open to diverse IT backgrounds
- Application side is preferred
- Pristine communication skills for reporting purposes
- Able to extract technical information from technical stakeholders and articulate those findings to VP level stakeholders
- Budget management of projects that value $500K+
- Strong Risk Management / Risk Identification skills
- PPM tool experience: Clarity or KeyedIn is preferred
- Working within a Healthcare Payor organization is required
- BCBS is highly preferred
- PMP Certification
