Are you looking to lead as a consultative business partner who actively contributes to the strategy of an organization?
This isn’t a transactional recruiting role—it’s a front-line talent advisory position with a direct impact on plant performance, safety, and growth. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting our plant and operations teams, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to leaders, helping them solve real workforce challenges through smart, proactive, and human-centered hiring.
We’re looking for someone who is deeply curious, highly driven, and motivated by building something better. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love problem solving, and want to make an impact this is the place for you!
• Own full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried plant roles, including production, maintenance, skilled trades, supervisors, and technical talent
• Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers—understanding workforce needs, operational realities, and future capability gaps
• Build and execute sourcing strategies that go beyond job postings (community outreach, referrals, talent pipelines, local partnerships)
• Spend time on the plant floor, building credibility, understanding roles firsthand, and attracting talent through authentic storytelling
• Use data and insights to guide hiring decisions, improve time-to-fill, and elevate candidate quality
• Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects our values and strengthens our employer brand
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve hiring processes, tools, and manager capability
Partner closely with HR, operations, and TA peers to support workforce planning and hiring initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• A curious mindset—you ask “why,” seek to understand, and dig into what really drives success in plant roles
• High drive and ownership—you take initiative, follow through, and hold yourself accountable for outcomes
• A consultative approach—you influence through trust, insight, and partnership, not just process
• Experience recruiting in manufacturing, operations, distribution, or skilled trades environments (preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally intense environment
• Comfort balancing urgency with quality, especially for hard-to-fill roles
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related business curriculum and a minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience is required. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred.
• Clear understanding of the recruitment life cycle process. Experience with application tracking software (Dayforce) is preferred. Strong skill in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to learn additional programs as needed.
• Ability to recruit at all locations of the Company from hourly manufacturing to salary level management roles. Knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations. Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization across multiple locations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to internal (i.e. employees) and external customers (i.e. candidates).
