Dotcom-Monitor is a profitable and stable B2B SaaS company specializing in synthetic monitoring and load testing. They are seeking a hands-on B2B Growth Marketer to drive trial signups for technical SaaS products, owning multi-channel growth execution and performance, including SEO, PPC, and content marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Personally own strategy, execution, and optimization across:SEO (technical + content-driven)PPC (search and paid social)Content marketingEmail and lifecycle campaignsConversion rate optimization (CRO)Partnerships and supporting channelsDefine hypotheses, run experiments, analyze results, and iterateTrack performance using analytics, attribution, and funnel metrics
- Identify, hire, and work with freelancers or independent contractors (SEO, PPC, content, CRO, design, etc.)Provide clear briefs, priorities, success metrics, and feedbackReview contractor output for:Technical accuracyChannel best practicesPerformance impactOptimize contractor spend and channel mix based on resultsContractors are used to accelerate execution -- not to replace ownership
- Translate complex technical products into credible, accurate messaging:API monitoringSynthetic monitoringLoad and performance testingSLAs and reliability metricsWork directly with product and engineering to understand capabilities and limitationsEnsure marketing content resonates with technical buyers and avoids oversimplification
- Own marketing tools and platforms (SEO, PPC, CRO, analytics, email, attribution)Manage and allocate marketing budget across channels and contractorsReport performance, ROI, and learnings clearly and consistently
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in B2B SaaS growth or demand generation
- Individual contributor background (not people management)
- Direct experience running and optimizing multiple acquisition channels
- Proven ability to hire and direct freelancers or contractors
- Strong analytical and experimentation skills
- Clear written communication and structured thinking
- Comfortable marketing to engineers, DevOps, QA, and SRE audiences
- Familiar with APIs and web services
- Familiar with uptime, performance, and monitoring concepts
- Familiar with DevOps and QA workflows
- Able to read technical documentation and validate marketing accuracy
- Trial-based or product-led SaaS experience
- Background in monitoring, observability, testing, or infrastructure tools
- Experience scaling marketing without building a large internal team
