Transforming Age is a company that supports healthcare and senior living communities, and they are seeking a Workday Financial Analyst. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient financial operations while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of Workday Financials modules including Core Financials, Record to Report, Expenses, Projects, and Accounting Center
- Acts as a senior support resource for financial module post-production activities, including issue triage, root cause analysis, system enhancements, testing coordination, and Workday release management
- Designs, builds, and maintains Workday Financials reports, dashboards, and analytics to support operational reporting, financial close activities, and leadership decision-making
- Ensures data integrity and consistency across financial structures such as cost centers, spend categories, suppliers, worktags, hierarchies, and accounting configurations
- Partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to translate reporting, compliance, control, and regulatory requirements into effective Workday Financials solutions
- Supports financial integrations with downstream and upstream systems, partnering with technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues, validate data, and ensure reliable data flows
- Participates in month-end and year-end close support activities, including troubleshooting, reconciliation support, and audit requests related to Workday Financials data
- Identifies opportunities to streamline financial processes, strengthen system controls, improve data visibility, and reduce reliance on manual workarounds
- Develops and maintains documentation for financial configurations, integrations, reports, and support procedures to ensure knowledge continuity and audit readiness
- Collaborates on cross-functional initiatives and projects, including new functionality rollouts, acquisitions, and system enhancements impacting the financial ecosystem
- Provides guidance and mentorship to less senior analysts, sharing best practices and supporting the overall maturity of the Workday Financials platform
- Configures, maintain, and optimize Workday Financials modules such as Core Financials, Record to Report, Expenses, Projects, and Accounting Center
- Supports the mission, vision, and values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three or more years of hands‑on experience configuring and supporting Workday Financials
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and Workday Financials configuration
- Experience building and supporting Workday Financials reports
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical partners
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, nonprofit, or multi‑entity organizations
- Exposure to multiple Financials areas such as Procurement, Projects, Expenses, or Accounting Center
- Workday Financials or Workday Pro certifications
