The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing business with new clients by implementing effective sales strategies and collaborating with internal teams to provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals
- Identify new opportunities and build a pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, lead generation, or collaboration with AM
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and position solutions effectively
- Develop sales strategies to win new accounts or expand existing ones, lead sales cycle, tailor proposals, and close contracts
- Partner with Industry Consultants and Pre-Sales to strengthen sales credibility
- Formulate the forecast on opportunities in motion
- Keep CRM systems updated and maintain CRM hygiene
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align go-to-market efforts and messaging
- Represent RWS at events, trade shows, and client meetings to build brand visibility and credibility
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of successful sales experience in selling technology (SaaS solutions) to CxOs (CMO, CTO, CAIO…) in different verticals and eventually in selling services
- A network of key decision makers for technology in different verticals
- Communication skills, including delivery of presentations and pitches
- Experience in consultative sales
- Demonstrable success in closing new business and retaining existing accounts
- Demonstrable experience in prospecting and outbound lead generation activities
- Structured approach to selling. Self-Organization and time management
- Business analysis, planning, and organizational skills
