Astera Labs is a leading provider of AI infrastructure solutions, and they are seeking a Director of Global Talent Acquisition to lead their recruiting function during a period of hypergrowth. This role involves developing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy and building a high-performing global recruiting team to attract top engineering and business talent.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global talent acquisition strategy aligned with Astera Labs' aggressive growth objectives and workforce plans
- Partner with executive leadership and hiring managers to forecast hiring needs, prioritize roles, and deliver against ambitious recruiting targets
- Build scalable recruiting processes, systems, and metrics to support a rapidly growing organization
- Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators across North America, APAC, EMEA, and India
- Establish clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Identify and develop future recruiting leaders within the organization
- Leverage deep semiconductor industry knowledge and networks to source and attract top-tier engineering talent in a highly competitive market
- Drive innovative sourcing strategies to build robust pipelines for critical technical roles across hardware, firmware, and software disciplines
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitive intelligence
- Implement and optimize recruiting tools, processes, and analytics to drive efficiency and improve candidate experience
- Partner with Marketing and People teams to strengthen Astera Labs' employer brand and position the company as a destination for top talent
- Ensure compliance with global hiring regulations and maintain consistency in recruiting practices across all regions
