MARKS IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance finance system operations. This role focuses on analyzing, optimizing, and supporting AP processes through system improvements, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve accounts payable processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements for AP initiatives
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios to ensure system quality and integrity
- Support AP operations and enhancements using PeopleSoft and/or Workday systems
- Manage defect tracking and testing workflows using Jira
- Perform business process mapping and identify optimization opportunities
- Assist in project planning, timeline tracking, and milestone delivery
- Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions
- Communicate updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders effectively
- Adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and project requirements with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- 14+ Years of experience required
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials (AP module) is required
- Strong background in test planning and execution
- Proficiency in Jira for managing testing workflows
- Proven ability in business process mapping
- Proven ability in data analysis
- Proven ability in driving continuous process improvement initiatives
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft
- Solid foundation in QA/testing methodologies
- Experience working within finance systems environments
- Ability to independently manage priorities
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues
- Ability to deliver scalable process improvements
