JFDI Accountants is a global leader in crypto accounting that serves the industry’s most influential players. They are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to drive enterprise client acquisition and relationship development in the crypto accounting space.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct lead generation and prospecting research to identify and qualify potential clients, especially within the crypto and fintech ecosystem
- Build, maintain, and nurture a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Support outbound outreach, discovery calls, follow-up messaging, and proposal tracking
- Coordinate and track all sales activities with precise documentation and regular status updates
- Manage proposal platforms, create and send proposals, monitor engagement, and follow up
- Respond to inbound leads and prepare research-based summaries for pricing/quoting
- Service and develop the enterprise client side of the business, including outreach to larger organizations, funds, exchanges, and complex operating businesses seeking crypto accounting solutions
- Travel as needed to blockchain-focused conferences, crypto networking events, enterprise prospect meetings, and industry meetups for business development
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and internal stakeholders to align strategic outreach and high-value targets
- Support client onboarding by coordinating documentation and ensuring a smooth handoff to the accounting team
- Refine and improve internal processes to support sales productivity
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, finance, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales operations, or inside sales
- Proven experience selling B2B financial products, bonus if accounting-related
- Familiarity with the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including DeFi protocols, wallets, and exchanges
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, build, manage, and close a sales pipeline with minimal oversight
- Comfortable initiating and leading conversations with CFOs, founders, controllers, and accounting teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and consultative approach
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot and proposal software (e.g., Proposify or similar)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote/hybrid environment while collaborating with internal teams
- Previous experience or strong familiarity with the cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, or Web3 industries is highly preferred
- An existing network or understanding of players in the crypto space is a plus and will be invaluable in generating new leads and opening doors
- Networking in the crypto/blockchain space is optional but highly valuable
