As a Business Development Representative, you will drive growth and expand market presence for PSS software by identifying new business opportunities and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for PSS software within target markets to drive revenue growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Create and execute strategic sales plans that align with Honeywell’s overall business goals and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure successful product positioning and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within the software industry, preferably with software solutions similar to PSS
- Strong knowledge of market analysis, sales strategies, and client relationship management to drive business growth
- Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with corporate objectives and market demands
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms to track performance and optimize sales efforts
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50% throughout the West Coast
- Ability to lead and drive a solution sale presenting to C-Suite teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts in the software sector
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data to inform business decisions
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and technology trends is a plus
