The role focuses on meeting sales targets by securing new clients and building long-term relationships, particularly in the automotive sector and other professional services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships to foster long-term partnerships
- Prospect, cold call, and leverage referrals to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads
- Convert qualified opportunities into successful deals through a strategic approach
- Navigate and close sales contracts with confidence and precision
- Consistently achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
- Leverage market insights to tailor sales approaches for maximum impact
- Attend networking events, and applicable conferences to promote PayJunction’s brand and solutions
- Provide accurate and reliable sales forecasts to support strategic planning
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience
- Minimum 2 year of experience in the payments industry
- Minimum 1 year of experience selling directly to the automotive sector (e.g., dealerships or service providers)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to diagnose client needs and propose tailored solutions
- Experience with contract negotiation and closing sales
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Excellent territory knowledge and the ability to network effectively within the assigned region
- Exhibit strong active-listening skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and highly organized with strong time management skills
- A current, valid driver's license
- Car insurance that meets or exceeds local requirements
- A clean driving record
- Experience in both the payments industry and automotive vertical strongly preferred
