CSAA Insurance Group, a leading personal lines property and casualty insurance group, is seeking a Senior Manager of Property Product Strategy & Development to lead the design and performance of their homeowners portfolio. This role involves managing a team of product managers and overseeing the full product lifecycle to drive profitable growth and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-stakes portfolio Shape and scale a multi-state homeowner's portfolio with direct impact on growth, profitability, and risk strategy
- Operate at the center of the business Work across underwriting, pricing, technology, and customer experience—where the most critical decisions get made
- Build and lead a high-performing team Develop and empower product managers to deliver complex initiatives and raise the bar on product excellence
- Turn strategy into real-world outcomes Take products from concept to market—and then continuously refine them based on performance, data, and market dynamics
- Drive measurable business results Drive product performance end-to-end, from loss ratio and growth to mix and expense management
- Modernize how we build insurance products Integrate new data sources, tools, and digital capabilities to improve pricing precision, underwriting, and speed to market
- Shape the future of property insurance Influence underwriting strategies, product design, and portfolio decisions in a rapidly evolving risk environment (cat, climate, regulation)
- Partner with top talent across the enterprise Collaborate with Actuarial, Data Science, Technology, and more to solve complex, high impact problems
- Continuously improve and innovate Find opportunities to enhance product features, streamline processes, and strengthen our competitive position

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of increasingly responsible product management experience
- 3-5 years experience leading a personal lines property product management team with demonstrated success in delivering new products and features from concept to launch
- Ability to define product strategy, product positioning, prioritize and articulate the rationale behind your decisions
- Knowledge of product and project management, product profitability, underwriting, and planning
- Enjoys working across strategic and tactical levels of a project
- Strategic, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Mastery of product analysis, principles and methods
- Business and technical writing skills (e.g., proposals, PowerPoint presentation, business requirements, Microsoft project, Suite Microsoft Office)
- Experience working with IT/technology teams to bring new products and/or product enhancements to life
- Project management techniques and processes; highly skilled negotiator
- Communication, presentation, and persuasion skills with internal and external partners and team members
- Understanding of business systems and processes and how they link together
- Exceptional financial analysis and reporting skills
- 5+ years of property product leadership with demonstrated success in delivering new products and features from concept to launch
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Experience with catastrophe risks management
