David's Bridal is a prominent retail brand focused on empowering customers and employees. They are seeking a high-performing Partner Development Media Sales Manager to lead retail media and brand partnership revenue across digital platforms and stores, requiring strong sales skills and the ability to build strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Sell Omnichannel Retail Media & Experiences
- Package and sell integrated opportunities across: In-store (activations, pop-ups, events, experiential, shop-in-shop, and sponsorships)
- Digital (site, email, social, affiliate, dropship)
- Position David’s Bridal as a unique retail media and experiential partner
- Own Partnership Revenue
- Prospect, pitch, and close new business with brands, agencies, and advertisers
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline
- Lead the Deal Cycle
- Develop compelling, customized proposals aligned to partner goals
- Negotiate and close agreements including media, co-branded marketing, and experiential partnerships
- Manage long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Open Doors & Build Relationships
- Proactively source new partners through outbound outreach, networking, and industry relationships
- Build credibility with brands and media agencies
- Grow existing partners by identifying new revenue opportunities
- Collaborate to Launch
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, e-commerce, stores) to transition closed deals into execution
- Stay involved through launch to ensure alignment, while account management supports ongoing performance
Requirements:
- 5+ years in partnership sales, retail media sales, or business development
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven track record of hitting quota and closing six-figure+ partnership deals
- Experience selling into or working with retail brands, CPG, beauty, fashion, travel, and/or agency partners
- Strong understanding of retail media, omnichannel marketing, and experiential activations
- Experience selling programs that include both digital and in-store components
- Confident communicator with strong pitch, negotiation, and closing skills
- Highly self-motivated with a hunter mentality and ability to build pipeline from scratch
- Experience with in-store activations, pop-ups, co-branded campaigns, shop-in-shop partnerships, and/or sponsorship sales
- Existing relationships with brand and agency decision-makers
- Familiarity with digital media, Shopify, affiliate platforms, and in-store GTM activations
