Flosum is a Salesforce Summit Partner and Innovation Award winner, seeking a Director of Salesforce Development to lead the architecture of their DevOps and Data Protection platform. This role involves direct leadership of engineering teams, shaping technical solutions, and ensuring high standards in product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- The end-to-end technical architecture across Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Metadata API) and Node.js systems that power our DevSecOps and Data Protection platform
- The roadmap and delivery of our Salesforce DevOps capabilities — version control, CI/CD, automated merge, org comparison, and continuous deployment
- The architecture and reliability of our Salesforce data backup, disaster recovery, and archival products trusted by regulated enterprises
- Direct leadership, coaching, and accountability for a team of Salesforce and Node.js engineers — no layers, no diffusion of ownership
- Training Node.js engineers into strong Salesforce platform contributors with a 1-2 month ramp
- Setting the engineering bar, removing bottlenecks, and making the final technical call so execution never stalls
- Partnering with Security, Product, and GTM leaders to ensure every release meets the standards of the world's most demanding customers
Requirements:
- 10+ years in software development with 3+ years leading engineering team
- Deep Salesforce architecture mastery: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Metadata & Tooling APIs, Platform Events, and governor-limit-aware design
- Proven Salesforce DevOps expertise — source-driven development, CI/CD, sandbox strategy, and the KPIs that matter: lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate
- Hands-on experience architecting Salesforce data backup, recovery, and archival systems at enterprise scale
- Strong production Node.js experience and the ability to own architecture that spans Salesforce and Node services
- A track record of owning outcomes — not tasks — and holding teams to a high bar
- Enterprise experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government, insurance) strongly preferred
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect
- Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, or FedRAMP compliance in the Salesforce ecosystem
- Prior experience building ISV or AppExchange-native products
