Tiger Data, formerly Timescale, empowers developers and businesses with a fast PostgreSQL platform. They are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own developer-facing messaging and feature-level launches for Tiger Cloud, focusing on execution and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Developer and practitioner messaging: crafting technically accurate narratives for the people who evaluate, implement, and use TimescaleDB day-to-day
- Tiger Cloud feature launches: driving end-to-end GTM for feature releases, including positioning, content, internal enablement, and cross-functional coordination
- Competitive intelligence: building and maintaining competitive positioning materials, battle cards, and technical comparisons that keep Sales and the broader team informed
- Content execution: producing high-quality, developer-first content including blogs, landing pages, launch docs, competitive explainers, and demo narratives
- Campaign support: partnering with Demand Generation and Marketing Operations to scale product stories across web, SEO, paid, and social channels
- Sales enablement support: contributing to technical demo materials, competitive positioning docs, and field-facing messaging for technical deals
Requirements:
- 4–5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, infrastructure, databases, DevTools, or developer-first products
- Experience executing product launches end-to-end. You've owned the positioning, content, and cross-functional coordination, not just contributed to it
- Strong written communication, particularly when crafting clear, concise technical messaging for developers and technical buyers
- Comfort working directly with Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales to get the context you need and ensure accuracy
- Ability to move between strategy-informed thinking and detailed execution. You can interpret a positioning framework and turn it into a blog post, landing page, or battle card yourself
- Familiarity with what effective developer marketing looks like, and what gets ignored
- Thoughtful use of AI tools to accelerate research, competitive analysis, and content iteration while maintaining technical rigor and accuracy
- Previous experience as a software engineer, DevRel advocate, or technical sales engineer
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and developer tooling (IDEs, CI/CD, version control, cloud-native infrastructure)
- Experience at early-stage or rapidly scaling companies where scope was ambiguous and ownership was real
- A track record of building competitive intelligence programs or developer-facing content engines
