TrustedTech is a leading Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider specializing in Microsoft Cloud services and support. They are seeking an experienced Azure Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level support, manage complex customer incidents, and improve the reliability and performance of client environments through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of customer support cases, ensuring clear communication and documentation while strictly adhering to established SLAs
- Resolve complex issues across core Azure services including Compute (VMs/VMSS), Storage, Identity (Entra ID, RBAC), and advanced Networking (VNet, VPN/ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints)
- Lead technical efforts for production-level incidents involving Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Databricks, addressing cluster health, workload reliability, and performance bottlenecks
- Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) to recover failed releases and enable safe, repeatable client deployments
- Utilize Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to manage customer environments, remediating configuration drift and ensuring successful promotion across dev/test/prod
- Improve platform supportability by implementing advanced monitoring, centralized logging, and automated remediation using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Prometheus/Grafana
Requirements:
- 2–4 years in a customer-facing support role (DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations) managing production workloads in an Azure environment
- Comprehensive troubleshooting knowledge across Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Identity (RBAC/Entra ID)
- Hands-on proficiency with Terraform and/or Bicep/ARM, including state management and environment promotion practices
- Experience supporting pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including secrets management and rollback strategies
- Practical knowledge of AKS operations (cluster upgrades, ingress, autoscaling) and support for Spark-based workloads via Azure Databricks
- Active AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) certification or equivalent is required; AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer) certification is highly preferred
- H.S. diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Mastery of branching strategies, pull requests, and managing IaC as production-grade code
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, private registries, and service mesh technologies
- Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, and FinOps/cost management practices
- Deep knowledge of Private Link, Private DNS, and complex firewall routing patterns
- Expertise in Azure Key Vault, managed identities, and workload identities for AKS
