Job Description
BA Operations role focuses on requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation for aviation operational modules such as Flight Operations, Crew Scheduling, and Safety. This position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that solutions meet operational needs and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Conduct workshops and interviews to capture operational requirements for aviation workflows.
- Perform gap analysis and identify process optimization opportunities.
Documentation & Standards
- Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices.
- Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with aviation standards (FAA/EASA).
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity.
- Manage change requests and perform impact analysis.
Skills Required Core BA Skills
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and process modeling.
- Expertise in BRD/FSD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure ADO.
Domain Knowledge
- Deep understanding of aviation operations: Crew Scheduling, Flight Ops, Safety.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards
- Familiarity with Crew Management Systems (CMS) and airline industry standards
Experience:
- 5 8+ years in business analysis roles.
- Exposure to aviation IT systems and operational workflows.
- Proven ability to manage requirements for large-scale aviation projects
