Paradigm Omni Catalog Implementation Manager
Reports To
Sr. Manager, Applications Development
THE ROLE
As a valued member of the IT Application Development team, the Paradigm Omni Catalog Implementation Manager will join a dynamic team of trusted business advisors that develop stellar technical solutions for internal and external customers. A primary focus will be on Catalog Application. Close collaboration with multiple Business and IT stakeholders. The Catalog Manager will be expected to quickly develop a thorough understanding of critical business processes and operations. They will also manage other IT team members to design, develop, test, deploy, and support stellar technical solutions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Business and IT stakeholders to manage and deliver highquality technical solutions on time and within budget.
- Create plans, track accurate timelines, and ensure clear communication updates across multiple initiatives; maintain sprint and release alignment.
- Manage documentation including user stories, technical designs, development notes, test results and release artifacts.
- Lead and manage the detailed technical design specifications for catalog rules, configuration logic, and application enhancements.
- Manage, review, and maintain catalog content using Paradigm tools, embedded rules, tables, filters, and VB.NETbased custom logic.
- Manage the imagery using internal tools and Adobe Photoshop, ensuring accurate formatting and sizing across platforms.
- Manage the enhancement of internal tooling for catalog development, deployment, validation, and reporting including Pythonbased utilities where applicable.
- Execute unit, integration, regression, and performance testing; validate catalog outputs against ERP systems and product data.
- Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes using ServiceNow; create and update tickets, monitor progress, and manage backlog refinement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives; assist in estimating and organizing work items.
- Assist with catalog release processes, including environment preparation, catalog upgrades, build execution, and publish cycles using Paradigm s Environment Management Utilities.
- Lead environment setup, server/SQL maintenance activities, and crossenvironment release coordination.
- Lead required administrative responsibilities including time entry, compliance training, and documentation updates.
- Mentor and support other developers by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and troubleshooting guidance.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electronic catalog development and Implementation
- 2+ years of handson experience using Paradigm/WTS Paradigm tools, embedded rule systems, and tabledriven catalog logic.
- Proficiency in VB.NET, .NET development, SQL, and associated debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Python for internal automation, testing utilities, or catalog tooling enhancements (nice to have).
- Experience working with image editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and internal catalog imaging utilities (nice to have).
- Strong understanding of Doors and Windows product data and configuration principles.
- Adept at using ServiceNow or similar incident/change management systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and ITIL processes with a focus on continuous improvement and predictable delivery.
- Ability to analyze, debug, and validate catalog logic across multiple environments and against ERP integrations.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to document, explain, and collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Positive attitude and strong contributor to team culture; willingness to mentor peers and drive best practices.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or relevant work experience.
