Asset Management Product Analyst

Due Diligence Works, Inc. is a firm focused on asset management, and they are seeking an Asset Management Product Analyst. The role involves due diligence and analysis of investment products, evaluating their fit for customer platforms with a focus on investment strategy, risk, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Product Analysis: Perform due diligence on new and existing investment products, evaluating investment processes, performance, fees, and liquidity terms
• Operational Review: Assess investment firm operational controls, trade processing, valuation practices, and risk management
• Due Diligence Reports: Author detailed technical reports and prepare presentations for product organizations and investment committees to make product shelf decisions
• Monitoring: Conduct ongoing, regular reviews of approved product lists to ensure continued fit with customer product shelves
• Manager Interaction: Maintain active communication with third-party asset managers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Previous experience in product analysis. Investment research, due diligence, or asset management operations is a plus
• Proficiency in navigating financial data and advanced Excel
• Strong understanding of investment vehicles (mutual funds, ETFs, FSPs, SMAs, Alternatives, UITs) and regulatory environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to customer committees and product management teams
• Intelligent, well-spoken individuals who can perform a detailed analysis and then explain it in simple terms
• An Excel power user is a must
• Candidates who love financial services and are eager to learn

• Willingness to wear multiple hats and do different types of work, depending on where the need is
