OP Consulting Group LLC is a consulting firm, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager to proactively engage target clients and build trusted relationships. The role involves owning the sales process, collaborating cross-functionally, and leveraging data to maintain visibility and support the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage target clients through LinkedIn, email, phone, networking events, and referrals to open doors and spark new opportunities
- Engage Decision Makers and build trusted relationships with Procurement, HR, IT, DEI, and business leaders to uncover challenges and align OP Consulting Group's solutions
- Own the sales process from the first conversation to signed agreement with energy, discipline, and accountability
- Build & maintain a strong pipeline of target clients through consistent communication that lead to measurable results
- Collaborate with delivery (recruiting) and sales support to translate client needs into tailored solutions primed for immediate impact
- Stay engaged as a trusted advisor, expanding accounts and strengthening long-term partnerships
- Leverage data and tools including JobDiva CRM, LinkedIn Navigator to maintain visibility, forecasting accuracy, and transparent reporting
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, Consultant Care, and Delivery to share insights, influence account strategy, and support OP Consulting Group's culture of collaboration and growth
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT staffing/consulting
- Proven success selling to non-MSP organizations or initiating direct client relationships
- Strong verbal, written, and consultative communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex relationships and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable working with remote/offshore teams
- Tech savvy, with proficiency in JobDiva (ATS/CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools. Self-accountable with mature practice in data cleanliness
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline and drive to deliver results
