HiveB2X is a Shopify Plus Partner and enterprise Systems Integrator, and they are seeking a Sales Account Executive to own new logo acquisition. The role involves generating self-sourced pipelines, developing partner channel sales, and orchestrating deals to drive sales success.
Responsibilities:
- Self-sourced pipeline. Generate the majority of your pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner co-selling, events, and your network. Build and maintain 3–4x quota in qualified pipeline at all times
- Partner channel sales. Develop direct working relationships with partner AEs, CSMs, and channel managers at Shopify Plus and our ISV partners across PIM, OMS, CMS, Search, and data platforms. Source referrals, run joint account planning, attend partner QBRs, and drive co-selling motions
- Outbound that you write yourself. Research ICP accounts and build your own multi-touch sequences across email, LinkedIn, and video. Personalize at the account and persona level. Test subject lines, CTAs, and messaging — and iterate based on reply and meeting rates. You should not need an SDR or marketing to write your outreach for you
- Deal orchestration. Quarterback every deal: build mutual action plans with the buyer, assign internal prep work before each pitch, run pitch rehearsals, brief executives, and make sure the right HiveB2X people show up prepared at the right moments. The deal moves because you move it
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience selling services, software, or managed services with a track record of carrying and hitting a $1M+ services or ARR quota
- Demonstrated history of generating the majority of your own pipeline. You can show outbound metrics (sequences sent, reply rates, meetings booked, pipeline sourced)
- Experience selling through and with platform / ISV partners — sourcing referrals from partner reps, running co-sell motions, and closing partner-influenced deals
- Experience writing your own outbound — email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, video prospecting — without leaning on marketing or SDR support
- Proven ability to run full enterprise sales cycles (6+ months) with C-level IT and business buyers (CIO, CDO, CMO, VP eCommerce, VP Digital)
- Proven ability to orchestrate a deal team: assigning prep, running pitch rehearsals, building mutual action plans, and driving deals to close on schedule
- Proficiency in Apollo (or equivalent), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and a modern outbound stack (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, Clay, Gong)
- Ability to travel up to 25% for partner events, client pitches, and QBRs
- Experience selling Shopify Plus implementations or competing eCommerce SI services (Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, commercetools, SAP CX)
- Experience selling Managed Application Support, AMS, or post-launch optimization retainers
- Existing relationships at Shopify Plus, Akeneo, fluent commerce, Contentstack, Algolia, or similar partners
- Background in digital transformation, ERP/OMS integration, or AI workflow automation sales
