Makonis is a company focused on digital accessibility in the EdTech industry, and they are seeking a highly targeted Lead Generation Specialist. This role emphasizes generating qualified pipeline in new segments, particularly in underpenetrated industries, without overlapping with outbound sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Own pipeline generation in underpenetrated verticals and regions not covered by outbound sales:
- Geographies: Midwest, Northeast, Southeast U.S., and Canada
- Industries: Healthcare systems, mid-market insurance, legal/professional services, publishing & media, nonprofits, corporate HR/L&D teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years
- Experience in EdTech or e-learning industry
- Strong experience in B2B SaaS lead generation / demand generation
- Deep familiarity with digital accessibility (ADA, WCAG, Section 508) or closely related compliance-driven domains
- 5+ years in digital accessibility SaaS or services
- Experience generating pipeline for SaaS platforms and accessibility services
- 5 to 10+ years in B2B lead generation or demand generation roles
- Skilled in CRM, prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo), and marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach, Salesloft)
- Have worked in accessibility SaaS, compliance SaaS, or closely related industries
- Understand how to generate qualified pipeline (not just MQLs)
- Are comfortable working within defined territory and account ownership models
- Can operate both strategically (campaign design) and tactically (execution)
