Launch Project Manager

Kasa is a leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand that partners with property owners to deliver managed accommodations. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of complex property launches, coordinating various teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly outcomes while maintaining high standards for guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of complex new property launches
• Manage planning, coordination, and resource allocation for unique properties
• Coordinate activities of teammates from various organizations to ensure successful launches
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, launch checklists, and operational standards
• Work with stakeholders across Operations, Real Estate, Finance, and Marketing teams
• Document learnings and improve launch checklists and processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience, ideally in a Hospitality, Construction or Real Estate setting, and definitely in an industry where you were delivering physical projects
• You understand the key stakeholders (property owners, property managers, and on-site staff) in institutional real estate and/or hotels and have a track record forming deep connections with these external stakeholders
• You've spent your career planning and managing complex initiatives that creatively achieve business goals, and you understand that problems that seem similar on the surface must often be tackled with very different solutions once the details are understood
• You have worked in a remote setting (ideally using video and web-based project management tools to communicate), and are a clear communicator both in person and from afar
• You have a high level of independence and can drive thoughtful decisions even in fast-paced, ambiguous operating environments, informing and consulting the right stakeholders as necessary
• You are obsessive about clear documentation of learnings, and always approach a problem with the mindset of how you could scale the solution to 100x the size
• You communicate with clarity and empathy and can deliver impactful presentations to both senior business leaders and external partners as well as daily operations staff
• Travel is part of your DNA and you have a passion for the real estate, tech, and hospitality industry
• You have earned your PMP certification
• Managed the launches and/or flag transitions of hotels or large scale STR operations previously
• Managed significant construction or renovation projects in multifamily housing or hospitality
• Managed project executions at a fast-paced, ambiguous organizations where the playbook has not yet been written
• You are comfortable traveling to our property sites during launch
