Modivcare is a service-oriented company focused on making a difference in people's lives. The Vice President, HR Business Partner will manage and enhance the effectiveness of the Personal Care organization, driving HR strategies and fostering a workplace culture aligned with company values.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes HR strategies in alignment with company objectives; participates as an active contributor with senior leadership
- Oversees Personal Care HR and provides visionary leadership to the team, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing culture
- Develops employee brand and value proposition ensuring it is aligned with overall company brand and value proposition
- Collaborates with business units to identify opportunities for organizational development
- Leads change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation
- Drives initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
- Partners with HR Business Partners to address and resolve employee relations issues
- Provides advice and counsel on employee relation issues. Manages and reports on employee relation issues and implement strategies to reduce such issues
- Identifies most appropriate HR metrics to track and analyze in order to support informed business and strategy decisions
- Partners with management team and respective internal organization groups to develop highly effective formal and informal employee communications program
- Leverages emerging technologies and other highly effective tools to capture integral data to support business and human capital decisions
- Drives the HR function to a level that is well respected by all internal clients as a service-oriented organization committed to support the business and all other functions
- Determines appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives
- Builds an effective senior leadership team through mentoring and formal education that focuses on management and project management principles
- Defines annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals
- Directs and mentors senior leaders on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies
- Directs and coaches senior leaders on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards
- Accountable for strategic design, execution, and collective results along with others’ successful contributions
- Owns attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction
- Directs and influences change management initiatives to drive improvements and efficiencies cross-functionally
- Ability to direct and interact collaboratively and communicate effectively with external, internal customers, and stakeholders to address issues and ensure alignment across the organization to drive customer success
- Prepares and manages budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance
- May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Occasional business travel may be required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Fifteen (15) plus years experience in progressive HR Management roles; preferably with nationwide teams
- Ten (10) plus years leadership responsibility leading teams
- HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) highly desirable
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Demonstrated an ability to achieve business results while collaborating and partnering well with management and employees
- Deep experience leading successful HR teams that were recognized by both management and employees as being proactive and service oriented
- Exceptional in problem solving, applying hard data and qualitative insight to frame problems and develop novel solutions
- Excellence in Global Workforce Productivity, employee analytics and demographics and how programs can be tailored to the employee population
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; ability to simplify complex information and communicate in a clear, concise and compelling/persuasive manner
- In-depth knowledge and experience with a centralized HR function, processes, and procedures
- Program and project management expertise
- Must possess a fundamental intellectual curiosity around personal growth and learning
- Excellent communication skills and 'executive presence;' ability to create effective relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and ability to sort through complex issues and translate and communicate them in a clear, concise manner
- Detail-oriented and having a passion for service and delivery that results in exceeding expectations with every interaction

- Proficient in Microsoft Suite products
- Master's Degree preferred
