They are seeking highly qualified Process Safety Engineers and Senior Process Safety Consultants to work on challenging projects for major corporations, focusing on process safety and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management
- Proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities
- Develop and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills
- Handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development
Requirements:
- Senior Consultants: 10-15+ years' experience required; ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills
- Engineers / Consultants: 5-10+ years' experience; self-motivated, independent, organized, able work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development
- Bachelor / Masters in related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety)
- Relevant experience in process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment
- Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations
- Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects
- Ideal candidates will be 'Seller Doers' with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business
- Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs
- Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures
- Experience in developing and evaluating/auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence
- Experience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as: Process hazard analyses (PHA), and risk assessments, or related studies, such as HAZID, What-If, HAZOP, FMEA, and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
- Quantitative Risk Assessment including QRA studies, fault tree/event tree analysis, facility siting studies, fire hazard, explosion, and toxic modeling
- Safety Instrumented Systems services such as: Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC61511 and related standards
- Experience and expertise in dust hazard management services such as: Evaluating processes for dust hazard fire and explosion risks (DHA), Auditing for dust hazard management
- Experience and expertise in reactive chemistry hazard management
