They are seeking a highly qualified Infrastructure Project Manager to manage IT infrastructure projects for a Federal Agency, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while coordinating with government stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure and/or physical infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports
- Track and report project scope, schedule, cost, and performance metrics
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues
- Facilitate meetings and problem-solving discussions with diverse stakeholder groups
- Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and management teams
- Prepare executive briefings, dashboards, and presentations for government leadership
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and lifecycle methodologies
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency
- Utilize project management and reporting tools to monitor progress and communicate outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT infrastructure, facilities, or capital improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and project management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, cost, risks, and issues
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
- Current Project Management Professional certification
- Experience supporting federal agencies in healthcare, engineering, facilities, or construction environments
- Familiarity with capital planning, deployment management, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
