Hannah Goetz Organizing (HGO) is a female-owned professional organizing and interior design company based in Austin, Texas. They are seeking a motivated Business Development & Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and convert leads into paying clients, thereby supporting the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking events, partnerships, referrals, online platforms, etc
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads aligned with HGO’s ideal client profile
- Conduct outreach to prospective residential and commercial clients
- Consistently follow up with inbound inquiries to maximize conversion opportunities
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships within related industries, including real estate, interior design, luxury services, wellness, and hospitality
- Maintain records of leads, consultations, and client communication through CRM and tracking systems
- Collaborate directly with the Founder to implement and refine business development and sales strategies
- Support the growth of the HGO brand through strategic marketing and relationship-building initiatives
- Develop customized sales pitches, proposals, presentations, and service recommendations tailored to client needs
- Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, sales systems, and client experience
- Assist Founder with pricing conversations, contract administration, and onboarding processes
- Lead discovery calls, consultations, and follow-up communication with prospective clients
- Effectively communicate HGO’s value, services, and transformation process
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through signed contract
- Build trust-based relationships with clients while delivering a high-touch and elevated customer experience
- Confidently present organizing and design solutions while aligning services with client goals and budgets
- Stay informed on trends within the professional organizing, interior design, luxury home service, and lifestyle industries
- Monitor competitor offerings, pricing structures, and market positioning
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, service expansion, and brand differentiation
- Provide ongoing insights and recommendations that support company growth and innovation
- Participate in weekly check-ins to review pipeline progress, sales goals, and opportunities
- Submit monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Utilize sales analytics and performance metrics to improve processes and optimize results
- Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and strong communication with the HGO team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Previous experience in sales, business development, client relations, or account management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to manage multiple leads and ongoing client communication effectively
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
- Passion for organization, interior design, lifestyle services, or wellness-focused businesses
- Experience in interior design, professional organizing, luxury services, hospitality, wellness, or real estate industries
- Existing network or connections within home, commercial, or lifestyle sectors
- Familiarity with social selling, networking strategy, and partnership development
- Strong visual and aesthetic awareness with the ability to confidently speak about design-oriented services
